CHITRAL: Chitral City Police have arrested a man allegedly involved in a theft case and recovered stolen property from his possession.
The action was taken on the special directives of District Police Officer Lower Chitral Resham Jahangir as part of ongoing efforts against criminal elements and theft-related incidents in the district.
Following the registration of a report about the theft at a carpenter shop located inside a sawmill in Muldeh Aliyan within the jurisdiction of City Chitral Police Station, SDPO Chitral Circle Ahmad Isa formed a special investigation team under the supervision of City Chitral Police Station SHO SI Bulbul Hassan.
Using modern investigative techniques and professional skills, the team traced the alleged suspect, identified as Shahzaib Alishah, a resident of Muldeh. He was arrested and the stolen property was recovered from his possession.
Lower Chitral Police said they remain committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining law and order across the district.
