Chitral, May 14, 2026: A special meeting was held at City Police Station Chitral between police officials and individuals associated with the scrap business to discuss matters related to law and order and prevention of crime.
The police officials in the meeting were led SHO City Police Station Bulbul Hassan.
During the session, participants were briefed on the importance of monitoring the buying and selling of scrap items, especially to prevent the trade of stolen goods.
Police officials directed dealers to maintain proper records of all transactions and to immediately report any suspicious persons or items.
The SHO emphasized that cooperation between traders and police is essential for maintaining peace and eliminating crime in the area.
Scrap dealers attending the meeting assured full cooperation with the police and expressed their commitment to follow legal procedures and report any suspicious activities in a timely manner.
