Chitral, April 3, 2026: Following a series of thefts reported to police from Denin during Eidul Fitr, the Chitral City Police traced and arrested the suspects involved.
A police spokesman said that a dedicated investigation team was formed under the supervision of SP Investigation Iqbal Karim, SDPO Circle Chitral Sajjad Hussain, and SHO Chitral City Police Inspector Ali Ahmad.
Led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Wazir Alishah, the team used their professional expertise to identify and apprehend the suspects: Ikramullah (resident of Denin Lasht), Jamshed Ahmad (resident of Balach currently living in Gahtak) and Khabib Ahmad (resident of Mohmand currently living in Gahtak).
The team recovered from the suspects the stolen items including a motorcycle, a generator, a battery, a block removal form, and other materials. The suspects are now in police custody and further investigation is underway.
