Teachers’ Body Stresses Transparent Class IV Appointments

Booni, March 18, 2026: The Insaaf Teachers Association (ITA) Upper Chitral held a meeting under President Imtiaz Ali at the district headquarters in Booni, attended by all senior district cabinet members.

The meeting focused on strengthening the organization, expanding membership, and ensuring complete transparency and merit in Class IV appointments.

Participants stressed that favoritism or non-merit-based practices must be discouraged, and only deserving candidates should be appointed.

Members also discussed teachers’ challenges, including lack of facilities, transfer issues, and difficulties faced by female teachers and those in remote areas. ITA pledged to raise these concerns with relevant authorities to secure timely solutions.

The delegation met the Deputy DEO Upper Chitral, and formal meetings with both Female and Male DEOs are planned after Eid to address outstanding issues.

President Imtiaz reaffirmed ITA’s commitment to protecting teachers’ rights, promoting fairness, and strengthening the educational system in Upper Chitral.
