Chitral, March 16, 2026: The district administration of Lower Chitral conducted a crackdown on hoarders in Garam Chashma amid ongoing Ramazan relief efforts.
During the operation, two shopkeepers were arrested, and their shops were sealed for overpricing and hoarding essential commodities.
The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring fair prices and availability of essential goods for the public during the holy month.
Meanwhile, a similar campaign is also underway by the district administration of Upper Chitral, where officials are actively monitoring prices in different areas to prevent exploitation during Ramazan.
These initiatives are part of broader district efforts to uphold public relief, maintain price control, and promote good governance in the region.
