Chitral, Aug 27, 2025: The Lower Chitral administration seized unfit and slaughtered animals brought from down districts in Drosh.
The operation was led by Additional Assistant Commissioner Drosh Khilalullah, with support from Chitral Levies and police. Veterinary doctors supervised the immediate disposal of the animals.
In a statement, the DC office said that this move was aimed to protect the public from unsafe meat. Authorities also arrested those involved in transporting these animals to Chitral.
They now face strict legal action.The administration remains committed to public health and safety.
