CHITRAL: The Lower Chitral police recovered 23 grams of ice (crystal meth) from a man and arrested him.
According to a spokesman, a police team, headed by Head Constable Shamsul Anbiya during a routine checking stopped a suspicious individual, Murtaza Khan, son of Ghafar Khan, resident of Ayun.
Upon search, a substantial quantity of the illegal substance \”ice\” was recovered from his possession. The suspect was arrested on the spot, and an investigation launched against him.
The spokesman said a crackdown against drug peddlers was ongoing under the supervision of SDPO Bumburate Circle Ahmad Isa and SHO Ayun Police Station Sub-Inspector Ataur Rehman.
