ISLAMABAD: Senior leaders of Pakistan’s major political parties have condemned the recent attacks on international food chains carried out in the name of solidarity with Palestinians.
They warned that such actions harm the country’s national interests.
During a televised program, representatives from PML-N, PPP and PTI unanimously rejected the targeting of global food franchises, stating that it violates the law and damages Pakistan’s economy and international image.
The leaders emphasized the importance of supporting the Palestinian people but insisted that such support must not disrupt peace and order within the country.
Their remarks followed several incidents in which individuals vandalized international food outlets in various cities. Law enforcement agencies responded by arresting dozens of suspects allegedly involved in the attacks.
Analysts praised the political leadership for presenting a united front and promoting public awareness while urging citizens to adopt peaceful and constructive forms of protest.
