BOONI: The Kaghlasht Festival 2025 continued in full swing on its third day after interruption by rain.
After the rain cleared, the weather turned pleasant, allowing the resumption of sports competitions.
Thrilling matches of football, cricket, and volleyball took place, accompanied by traditional Chitrali dance and cultural shows that added vibrant color to the day.
In the marathon race, Rehmat Hakeem from Zaini, Mulkhow, secured first place, followed by Shahzaib second and Imran in third.
Due to the wet polo ground, the polo matches were postponed. The DC Upper Chitral inspected the ground and received a briefing on the match schedule from polo representative and player Ziaullah Lal.
Thousands of spectators are enjoying the festivities daily in a peaceful atmosphere with excellent security arrangements ensured by the police and elite force of Upper Chitral.
If the weather remains favorable, polo matches will be held today.
