AKES middle school in Khruzg Yarkhoon upgraded
KHRUZG (YARKHOON): The Aga Khan Middle School Khruzg has been upgraded to the high school level by the Aga Khan Education Service Pakistan (AKES,P), marking a significant milestone in the region’s educational development.
To celebrate this achievement, a special ceremony was organized by the school management, attended by community members, the School Support Committee, and notables, says a press released issued by the school management.
This remarkable initiative is set to benefit students from Khruzg, Dizg, Marhting, Birzoz, Istach, and Phashk by offering quality secondary education at their doorstep. The community expressed immense joy and gratitude to AKES,P for fulfilling a long-standing dream.
The Aga Khan School Khruzg was initially established as a primary school in 1984 in a modest Katchi building. It was upgraded as a middle school in 2019 and has now proudly attained the high school status. This marks a new chapter in the journey of educational empowerment for the children of Yarkhoon Valley.
Speaking at the function, Sharif Panah (Deputy General Manager AKES,P), Zulfiqar Ali (Senior Manager School Development), Tajul Muluk (Head of Regional School Development Unit), Ghafar Ali Khan (President Ismaili Local Council Brep), Minhaj Ali Lodhi (School Head) and Uqab Uddin (SSC Convenor) highlighted the inspiring history of AKES,P and its vital role in providing quality education to remote and underserved areas.
