CHITRAL: Chitral’s daughter Lakhshan Bibi is set to arrive in Karachi on April 9 from the US with some priceless gifts for the youth of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In an inspiring initiative aimed at enlightening the youth of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan through the light of knowledge and literature, Lakhshan Bibi has taken a remarkable step.
A container carrying 80,000 books arranged by Lakshan Bibi for the youth will reach Karachi on April 9. These books will be distributed among various schools in the northern regions of the country.
Lakhshan Bibi, known as a promoter of literature, knowledge, and positive thinking, said in her message: “It is my desire to spread the light of wisdom, knowledge, and positivity in my beloved Chitral through literature.”
She further said that although modern technology is essential for progress, she is concerned that the younger generation is being drawn toward inappropriate content that is easily accessible.
“This is the time for all of us to come together and play our part for the betterment of Chitral. If we use our individual strengths, we can build a society where everyone can live a prosperous life.”
Lakhshan Bibi said this effort is not limited to just the distribution of books rather she envisions an intellectual revolution founded on the principles of literature, knowledge, sincerity, and respect.
Addressing the youth, she said: “Life is short, and we must leave behind a legacy that serves as a guiding light for generations to come.”
Education experts believe these books will not only help improve academic standards but will also play a vital role in shaping young minds.
What began as an individual effort is now becoming a source of collective awareness. Once again, the land of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan is setting a new example of learning, culture, and positive thinking driven by Lakhshan Bibi.
