AKU approved as MRCP (UK) Part 2 clinical exam site

KARACHI: The Aga Khan University Karachi has been approved as an official examination site for the MRCP(UK) Part 2 clinical examination (PACES).

It is a prestigious assessment conducted on behalf of the three Royal Colleges of Physicians in the UK. As many as 14 AKU faculty members have also been approved as official examiners for this globally recognized assessment.

“This milestone follows a rigorous four-day MRCP(UK) Pathfinder (mock) clinical examination at AKU’s Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME), Karachi. Under the leadership of Dr Muhammed Tariq, Professor and Vice Dean of AKU’s Medical College, Pakistan, the mock examination tested AKU’s world-class facilities, examiner expertise, and logistical capabilities, ensuring a highly realistic, standardized environment that meets global medical standards,” said the AKU in a statement.

This achievement further cements CIME’s position as a premier hub for clinical examinations, dedicated to maintaining and advancing high standards of healthcare training in Pakistan and East Africa.
