CHITRAL: The Chitral police on Thursday said they have taken into custody a lawyer after his alleged blasphemous social media post went viral on social media.
The police said that Shamsul Islam was sent to jail under section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) ordinance.
To accuse ,judge and punish in the name of GOD is a blasphemy in itself

It is strange that when a blasphemy is committed against Allah Almighty (nauzubillah) it often goes unchallenged but any word against a sahabi raises immediate hue and cry.
