Chitral’s road projects given under PM’s inspection body

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday directed that road construction projects in Chitral should be given under the supervision of the PM’s Inspection Commission.

The commission will ensure timely completion of the projects along with their quality. 

The directive was issued after Mr Sharif was briefed by a delegation of PML-N Lower Chitral officials led by Abdul Wali Khan Advocate at a meeting at the Prime Minister House, according to Ghazala Anjum, one of the delegation members.

The delegation apprised the prime minister of the poor conditions of  roads and delays in completion of road projects in Chitral.     

On this occasion, the prime minister announced to open branches of Daanish School System along with the establishment of a hospital in Chitral. The prime minister appointed Abdul Wali Khan as the focal person for the federal government departments in Chitral.

According to Ms Anjum, the prime minister also promised to visit Chitral soon.  The delegation of the PML-N from Chitral also included secretary information Niaz A. Niazi Advocate, District Bar Association President Sajidullah Advocate, Inamullah, Fazlur Rehman Shahid, Muhiuddin, Noorduddin Zangi and Naeemullah.
