Event held to recognize role of senior citizens

GARAM CHASHMA: The Yadgha Hamdard Tanzeem (YHT) on Sunday organized a function for senior citizens to highlight their contribution for the development of their areas, especially the field of education, says a press release.

Another objective of organizing the event was to recognize the important role of senior citizens in society and use it as a motivation for the younger generation. As many as 21 women and 17 men aged above 60 years attended the event. 

Addressing the gathering, YHT Murad Khan highlighted the role of senior citizens for the development and progress of the area.

On this occasion, the senior citizens also exhibited their talent in both Khowar and Yadgha languages and received applause form the audience.

Chief guest Sher Muhammad Khan and Muhammad Din, who chaired the event, shared with the participants their valuables experiences of life. They advised the youth to forge unity, work hard and help each other in the ups and downs of life.
