E-transfer policy round II launched for teachers

PESHAWAR: The education department launched round II of the e-transfer policy for teachers under which vacant posts of SSTs will be uploaded till October 26.

Teachers who want transfer can apply through the department’s online portal from Oct 27 to Nov 1. This was decided at a meeting held with education minister Faisal Khan Tarakai in the chair on Tuesday.

The district education officers concerned will verify the applications from Nov 2 to Nov 5. The merit list will be issued on Nov 7 while transfer orders under the policy would be released on Nov 8.

The education department’s e-transfer policy was launched in the KP province about two months ago. Under the policy, all transfers would be made once in a year during the summer vacations.

The minister directed the authorities to upload all vacant posts of SSTs on the portal that have been created due to promotion of the teachers.
