PESHAWAR: Inspector General Frontier Corps (North) Major General Noor Waheed Khan met Aziza Gul, a rising star in the world of athletics, at the historic Balahisar Fort in Peshawar.
Aziza, hailing from Chitral’s Madaklasht Valley, has been making a name for herself in national and international competitions, bringing pride to her region and country.
Aziza, a student of first-year, has excelled in academics bedsides shining in athletics. Her impressive achievements include two national champion titles, three gold medals and one bronze medal. She also represented Pakistan in the 32nd Asian Alpine Ski Championship in China early this year.
The inspector general congratulated Aziza on her outstanding performances, awarding her a special prize for her achievements.
Aziza and her father expressed gratitude to the IG FC for his encouragement and acknowledged the efforts of the FC in maintaining peace in the region and promoting youth, especially women, in various fields.
