PM promises best security for Chinese workers

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said the government will ensure best possible security arrangements for Chinese engineers, workers and their families in Pakistan.

He was addressing Chinese engineers and workers at Dasu Dam project site in Koshistan today.

“Our friendship will march forward and the enemies of this friendship will be defeated comprehensively.”

He expressed condolence with the Chinese engineers over the killing of five Chinese workers in a terrorist incident that took place on March 26 in Besham. He said once the inquiry report by the committee is concluded, exemplary punishment will be given to the perpetrators.

He said the security of the Chinese brothers and sisters was our responsibility as they support us in making Pakistan prosperous and progressive.
