CHITRAL: Langlands School and College is playing a key role in promotion of quality education, said the district police officer of Lower Chitral.
The DPO, Qamar Hayat, stated this during a visit to the Langlands School and College here, says a press release issued by the police.
College Principal Carey Schofield and teachers briefed the police officer about the academic and other facilities on the campus.
The DPO said that the Langlands School and College had played a leading role in providing quality education in the remote area of Chitral.
The Langlands School was set up as Sayurj Public School in 1988 and a year later former British major Geoffrey D Langlands arrived to take over as its headmaster.
Langlands served the school till he retired due to old age in 2012 and passed away in Lahore in 2019. Ms Carey followed Langlands and has been heading the institution since then.
@Seerat yes she madam dared to media back with the claim of quality education.
Carey has nothing to do with quality education. Afterall she is interested in her luxurious life in Chitral.
Good to see our very dear Schofield in the media after long time along with with Sher Haider Khan and the district cop.
