19-member federal cabinet sworn in

ISLAMABAD: An 18-member federal cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took oath in Islamabad on Monday. President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to the 18 ministers and one minister of state at the Awane Sadr. 

The  ministers are: Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal Chaudry, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Senator Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Abdul Aleem Khan, Jam Kamal Khan, Amir Muqam, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Attaullah Tarar, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Musadik Masood Malik, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Cheema Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

The portfolios of the ministers will be announced soon and the first meeting ofthe cabinet has also been convened later today which will be chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
