MARDAN: A 20-year-old female student lost her life after sustaining a head injury during a judo contest at Sports Complex of Mardan on Sunday, hospital sources said.
They said Fiza from Peshawar was hit in the head by her opponent during the match after which she fell unconscious. Rescue staffers provided her first aid and shifted Fiza to a local hospital where she passed away.
