CHITRAL: A woman was on Thursday arrested after recovery of over one kilogram of charas from her possession, the police said.
According to a spokesman for the Lower Chitral police, a team during checking at Chew bridge on suspicions got a sack carried by the woman checked by lady constables.
He said the police recovered 1,010 grams of charas from the sack, leading to the arrest of the woman. She was identified as Sabira Bibi, wife of Abdul Malik, of Izz village of Garam Chashma.
