Snow sports festival begins in Upper Chitral

BOONI: A snow sports festival arranged by the district administration of Upper Chitral started near here on Saturday.

Teams from different areas are participating in different games being held at Qaqlasht as well as in Booni. The different events included ice hockey, ice skating, paragliding and a jeep rally. 

Rescue 1122 said its team was at the venue to provide first aid to players in case of any emergency.
