Two held for illegal mining

CHITRAL: Two persons were arrested on the charge of illegal mining and damaging the Booni-Peshawar road.

According to a statement issued by the office of the deputy commissioner Lower Chitral, on public complaints officials from the district administration reached Dwashish area of Jughoor and found the the two men illegally mining along the road and damaging it.

The suspects were taken into custody and legal action initiated against them through the police, it added.
