Flood early warning system installed in Booni Gol

BOONI: A flood early warning system has been installed in Booni Gol by the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH).

A statement issued by the district administration of Upper Chitral said an orientation session on the system was held with Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali in the chair on Wednesday.

Wali Muhammad Yaftali, EM AKAH Upper Chitral, briefed the participants about the system.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC appreciated the role of the AKDN in the development of the area.  Later, he also visited the site of the flood early warning system in Booni Gol.
