Chitral Scouts Jawan disappears from headquarters
Sher Afgan
AWI (Upper Chitral): A youth from Awi, who was serving in Chitral Scouts, has been missing from the headquarters of the force in the Chitral town for three days.
Local people told ChitralToday that Sharif Ullah, son of Faiz Ullah Khan, was in the nursing service of Chitral Scouts. On Sept 9, Sharif called his brother, who was in the Chitral town, and asked him to reach his workplace urgently and meet him.
When the brother reached the Scouts headquarters, Sharif was not in his room. His wallet and mobile phone along with other belongings were in the room, however.
Since then, Chitral Scouts has been searching for the missing man but has gotten no clue even from the CCTV footage.
It is strange how the youth disappeared without being noticed by his colleagues, other personnel and the guards on duty outside the Scouts’ headquarters.
