Search for bodies of accident victims continues
CHITRAL: Search for the recovery of the dead bodies of Yarkhun accident victims continued on the fifth consecutive day but without any success.
Nine people lost their lives when a taxi land cruiser fell off a bridge into the river in front of Unauch village in Yarkhun early on May 30.
One dead body was recovered in front of Pavur village a few hours after the accident. Three bodies were found in the wreckage of the vehicle when Rescue 1122 Lower Chitral pulled out it from the river on the evening of May 30.
The body of former member of the district council Chitral, Israr Ahmed, was recovered at Phashk village on May 3.
Rescue 1122 on Thursday said its staffers continued the search but so far the remaining bodies remain missing.
The missing dead bodies included that of two women and other passengers belonging to Yarkhun.
