Two rescued from excavator stuck in river

CHITRAL: The operator of an excavator and his helper were rescued after the machine got stuck in the middle of the river near Drosh on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 said the engine of the excavator stopped working while crossing the river to Markazabad village from Drosh side.

The operator and his helper saved their lives after climbing the machine. After being informed, Rescue 1122 divers reached the spot and rescued the two men. 

They were identified as Muhib Ullah of Kalkatak and Najeebur Rehman of Arandu.
