Youth shot dead in Morder village

BOONI: A youth was shot dead outside his home in Morder village of Upper Chitral by an unknown person at Sehri time on Monday, local people told ChitralToday on Monday.
They identified the murdered boy as Haider Ali, son of Noor Zaman, a resident of Morder, tehsil Mulkhow. The victim was around 21 years old and a college student.
Local police shifted the dead body to a government hospital in Booni for a postmortem and have launched an investigation.
So far, the motive behind the murder is not known.
Meanwhile, Subdivisional police officer Mulkhow Abdul Muzafar Shah told Dawn that as per the statement given by Haider Ali before his death, he and his elder brother, Noor Islam, were sleeping in their room when someone called for his brother from outside.
“As my elder brother was sleeping, I opened the door and saw a stranger clad in white clothes and black coat standing at the door,” the victim said, adding the man fired at him with a rifle.
The student died while being shifted to hospital, the police officer said, adding a case had been registered against the unknown assailant in Mulkhow police station on the complaint of the deceased’s mother.
Although very shocking and bad incident, however we are citizens of Pakistan, where all have rights. Better not to be emotional but be helping hand to the authorities in identifying the culprits. Individuals should not take such cases in hand and pass irrational remarks. Our sympathies are with the aggrieved family and can imagine the pain of the parents. Rip 😥 So sad hear about this shocking news! May Allah grant him high rank in jannah. All the villagers should be investigated one by one it is the only possible way to find him and if the killer found , should be hanged publically.

ریاست کے دور میں قصاص اور دیّت کا قانون فوری طور پر نافذالعمل ہوتا تھا۔ قاتل کو بلچ کے دریا کے گھاٹ پر لے جا کر مقتول کے بھائی یا وارث سے گولی مروائی جاتی تھی۔ صدر ضیاء الحق صاحب کے وقت تک سزا کا کچھ خوف تھا اب سخت قانون صرف ناداروں کے لئے رہ گیا ہے۔
Yest that is true but we chitrali people are fast becoming savage and do not value human life. Two young souls were brutally killed by people in Oveer last year and nobody came out to condemn this brutality and the killers went unpunished.
