35 girl footballers from Chitral arrive in Islamabad

KARACHI: In a bid to be on prime of their recreation, 35 girl footballers from Chitral have travelled to Islamabad for a soccer camp organised by the Chitral Girls Sports Club (CWSC).

The camp is the result of efforts by CWSC’s founder, footballer Karishma Ali, who has been globally acclaimed for her efforts to vary the destiny of young women in her village by way of her contributions to sports activities.

Twenty-three-year-old Karishma informed Geo Information that the concept behind bringing these girls to Islamabad from Chitral is to present them the chance to study the varied facets of the sport beneath the steering {of professional} coaches and expose them to a productive atmosphere.

“We’ve got two coaches, Jose Alonso from Spain and Waleed Javed, who’s FA degree 1 and AFC C license coach. They are going to be coaching these girls for  seven days,” she said.
