Woman gives birth to baby in Rescue 1122 ambulance

CHITRAL: A woman gave birth to a baby girl in a Rescue 1122 ambulance on Friday.

Rescue 1122 said the wife of Shirin Khan, a native of Upper Dir currently living in Drosh, was being shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital from Drosh when she gave birth to the baby near a bus stop in front of Ayun.

Both the mother and child are healthy and active and there was no complication, it said.
