Man stabbed to death by younger brother

CHITRAL: A young man stabbed his elder brother to death in Mroi village of Lower Chitral on Monday.

According to local people, the incident occurred in the Benai locality of Mroi.

The deceased has been identified as Sher Muhammad. He was attacked by his younger brother with a knife over a petty domestic issue.

Haji Baig, father of the deceased, told police that his son Sher Muhammad was unmarried. On Monday, Sher taunted the son of his younger brother due to which he was stabbed by his younger brother.

The injured was brought to the DHQ hospital where he died.

The police have arrested the alleged killer and handed over the dead body to the heirs after a postmortem.
