Traffic warden system introduced in Chitral

CHITRAL: Traffic warden system has for the first time been introduced by the police in Chitral.

A function was held at the police headquarters where District Police Officer (DPO) Lower Chitral launched the initiative.

The DPO said with the introduction of the traffic police with their own uniform the image of the department would further improve in the area.

He said the personnel selected as wardens have been trained on how to deal with the citizens. In this regard, they have been told to first say Salam to the citizens and then start talking.
