CHITRAL: Additional District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Khan Yousufzai sentenced to death two persons in a double murder case that occurred in Damil Arandu in 2016.
The prosecution proved that the two brothers — Saidur Rahman and Noor Rahmat — of Damil murdered their villagers Shafiqur Rahman and Shah Faisal.
The court ordered that the convicts should be hanged by their necks till their death while it also awarded them rigorous imprisonment of five years for keeping illegal arms.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs2 million on the convicts to be equally distributed among the families of the murdered persons.–Zahiruddin
