Chitral University students warn of protest

CHITRAL: University of Chitral students belonging to different political groups on Thursday warned that if work on reconstruction of the road to their university was not started by Sept 16, they would launch a protest.

At a meeting attended by representatives of Islami Jamiat Tulaba, Insaf Student Federation and others agreed that the road was in a dilapidated condition and needed urgent repair.

The meeting asked the departments concerned including the C&W, to come up with the progress on the reconstruction of the road by Sept 16 otherwise the students would protest by blocking Garam Chashma road.
