Local support organisations facing financial constraints

AYUN: Ayun and Valleys Development Programme (AVDP)’s board of directors at a meeting expressed concerns over financial and other issues being faced by local support organisations in Chitral.

The meeting held with chsirman Rehmat Elahi in the chair regretted that most of the LSOs had almost ceased to exist due to lack of resources.

Keeping in view the situation, the AVDP would also have to take some drastic measures, the meeting agreed.
The meeting also decided to hold the annual general meeting on July 14.

The meeting also decided to form committees in different areas to provide small loans to residents.

The participants expressed satisfaction over reports that the KP government was working on a ptopissk to allocate funds for the repair and renovation of Kalash temples.
