CHITRAL: Member of the national youth assembly from Chitral met prime minister’s special assistant on political affairs Naeemul Haq and discussed issues faced by students from the valley, says a press release.
The members including Muhammad Ali Mujahid, Shahbaz Ahmed and Inamullah were assured that the government would resolve the issues and provide all facilities to the students of Chitral.
The students also discussed with the special assistant the education and culture exchange progamme under which students from the University of Chitral would be sent to universities across the county for a year.
The students invited Mr Haq to attend the annual Qaqlasht festival to be held in upper Chitral in April. Mr Haq promised to attend the event along with a number of ministers. He said the KP government was making efforts to explore and promote tourism in Chitral which would create job opportunities for the youth of the valley.
