Three women from Chitral pass CSS exam

CHITRAL: Three young ladies from Chitral passed the Central Superior Services (CSS) exam in flying colours and two of them have been recommended for posting in the coveted Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) group.

Dr Sania Hameed Pasha from Zait village of upper Chitral remained second in KP and 20th in the overall merit list in Pakistan while Shagufta Jabeen, daughter of  Prof Ibrahim Shah, a resident of the remote Terich village, remained fifth in KP and 45th in Pakistan. She would also be posted in PAS group.

Dr Sania is daughter of Abdul Hameed Pasha, the accountant general of Gilgit-Batistan. She has been allocated her first preference of PAS by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC). Dr Pasha has been a brilliant student from her school to the Ayub Medical College Abbottabad where she did her MBBS.

She did her house job from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad, in 2016 against a merit seat of KP.
She has been a position holder and brilliant student of Army Public Schools Peshawar, Gilgit and Wah Cantt.

The third candidate, Syeda Maimoona, has been recommended for the Inland Revenue Service.

    It is, of course a moment of proud for all of us that our three shining stars performed will in CSS exam 2018.They prove that there is no dearth of potential in our youths if they get opportunity and are fully determined and willing to do something extra-ordinarily, then success can be theirs.
