Four held on charge of abducting woman

DROSH: Four people were arrested by the Drosh police on Wednesday for allegedly abducting a woman a day earlier.

The police had received a complaint that the middle-aged woman (name withheld) had been abducted in a taxi car from the Drosh town on Tuesday.

The police raided different areas and finally recovered the woman from the wooded area of Kalkatak and arrested the suspects. The taxi car was also recovered an has been impounded.

The arrested men, identified as Anwarul Haq, Ejazul Haq, Muhammad Rasheed and  Iqbal Hussain are being interrogated by the police.
