Ex-PM to address public gathering in Chitral on May 4
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and leader of the ruling PML-N Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit Chitral to address a public gathering on May 4.
It has been learnt that the PML-N leader will visit different parts of the country and address at least seven public gathering before Ramzan to be started from the middle of May.
According to the schedule, he will address a gathering at Mansehra on April 29, then on May 1 a gathering in Sahiwal followed by Rahim Yar Khan the next day. He will then speak in Chitral on May 4, Chakwal on May 6, Khushab on May 8, and Multan on May 11, daily Express Tribune reported.
This schedule has been designed to accommodate as many public gatherings as possible before Ramazan. It would not be possible to hold public gatherings in Ramazan, especially in view of the weather.
People should protest closure of lowari tunnel despite his inaugurating it 10 months ago
He did not do anything remarkable for Chitral when he was Prime Minister for 3 times. What can he do now after being disqualified for life time? Welcoming him, in my view, would be seen as disobeying the honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan.
People of Chitral should wholeheartedly and respectfully welcome our Ex PM. Let us have him in Chitral.
