Rumbur school students given awards

RUMBUR: A function was held at the Govt Middle School Rumbur to announce results of the annual exams and give awards to students for their outstanding performance in curricular and extracurricular activities.

Interestingly, girl students outnumbered boys as far as the top positions in all classes were concerned and received accolades from the participants. The position holders were given trophies and cash awards.

Awards were also given to those who won different matches during the sports week.

Asif Zada, son of Sher Zada, was declared the student of the year.
Lecturer, Dr Iqbal, who was the chief guest distributed the awards and also highlighted the importance of education. — Fateh Ullah Kalash
