Workers assail rumours about ex-MPA’s switch over to PPP
CHITRAL: PPP workers have expressed unhappiness over roumours about former MPA Ghulam Muhammad’s plan to join the party.
PPP workers at a meeting held at a local hotel with former nazim Amir Ullah Khan in the chair, passed a resolution thanking PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for approving a set-up of the PPP Upper Chitral on the request of the local workers.
The PPP workers on the occasion resolved that the party leadership would be persuaded to allocate the ticket for the provincial assembly seat of upper Chitral to one of the local party workers. In this regard, they said they would not accept any newcomer as the party candidate in the next elections.
Haji Ghulam Muhammad was a former MPA of the APML and later joined the JUI-F. The meeting also demanded that for the reorgnization of the party sincere and dedicated workers should be inducted as the office-bearers. A large number of workers and local leaders attended the meeting.
