During the meeting, it was decided that CHEPS would be a partner of EPA and Bahria Town in the upcoming awareness campaign ‘Say No to Plastic Bags’ in Islamabad. The CHEPS delegation was headed by Rehmat Ali Jaffar. CHEPS and EPA will jointly launch a campaign against the use of fireworks in the wild regions. EPA donated books and magazines regarding environment and its protection to CHEPS to be read by the students and professionals in Chitral EPA offered the facility of library and laboratory for the member of CHEPS based in Islamabad for any research or study purpose. After the detailed meeting, the CHEPS team also had a brief meeting with the deputy director of EPA to discuss the plan to conduct the upcoming event in Islamabad. Both the meetings were held in cordial environment & DG of EPA appreciated the efforts of CHEPS for promoting a healthy and green environment through out Pakistan.]]>
