This is a heart touching real story depicted a typical chitrali mother’s love, devotion, strength and analytical ideas and a daughter’s deep love for her mother.while reading this my eyes were full of tears and wish to read more and more about the respectable lady and her family. No doubt it will be an inspirational story for the future generation.
i find no word to appreciate the writer for depicting mother’s love in such a profound terms..i read it over nd over again nd my eyes were full of tears to read the article…may her soul rest in peace..

Very nice and impressive write up.It will be a valuable addition in the classic literature on mother. The only point i would like to add is that names of important relatives involved in the event, would have made it more like a real life story.

Thank You Professor Dr. Faizi. It is an honor, to get your valuable comment on the little piece that I wrote to pay tribute to my beloved mother. I have grown up listening about your contributions to Chitral’s literature and education. I deliberately did not mention the names, just wanted to focus on pure emotions for my mother. My brother that I have referred to in this article is Basharat Hussain and my father is Shamsu Wali Khan. I am hugely grateful to you for considering it “an addition to Classic Chitrali Literature on mother”. Though I believe, I do not know anything about literature, thanks for your encouragement.
such a simple and humanistic narrative. and may her soul rest in peace.
