It may be noted that the project to construct the new bridge has been in the doldrums for years due to misuse of the funds by the depertments concerned and the contractors.
During his vist to Booni, the DC also inspected the 100 KVA micro hydel power station funded by the KP government in Booni Gol. The DC said he also visited the Reshun polo ground and found that a majority of the anti-encroachment work had been completed. The DC Chitral announced a polo match in this ground between the teams of Chitral and Mastuj in March.
Bumbagh channel was also visited by the DC. It was decided that the flood-affected schemes will be completed on a priority basis and the assistant commissioners will carry out fresh assessments in the coming week to finalize the schemes for CDLD project.]]>
