Awareness session on CDLD policy

SRSP-CDLD district programme manager Munir Ahmed Saeed briefed the participants about CDLD policy and its importance in local development. He said that it was a unique initiative of the provincial government with the financial assistance of European Union. The SRSP has limited role of social mobilization which was aimed at the formation of community-based organizations and their capacity building. District Naib Nazim Maulana Abdus Shakur lauded the steps taken by SRSP for spreading awareness about CDLD policy. He said unless the stakeholders were made awareness of the policy, due benefit cannot be availed of any initiative. He stressed the need for conducting such events in other parts of the district as well. ]]>
