APML activist to contest LG polls from Shoghor

ISLAMABAD, April 11: Ali Nawab, son of former counselor Nawab Khan, who is the APMSF senior vice-president and a very close and active worker of Pervez Musharaf, has formally decided to contest the upcoming local government election from the union council of Shoghor. Ali Nawab is a LLB student and patron in chief of CSWO Islamabad. He took the decision after long discussions with the UC Shoghor youth residing in Islamabad and Peshawar division, says a press release. “All the youth said the young and educated politician was a major asset of the people.” They were totally determined to support him irrespective of their party affiliations. They also said that the participation of the educated youth of Chitral in the political process was the need of the time and it would be a catalyst for the development of Chitral. Talking to media, Ali Nawab said after meeting and holding discussion with APML chairman retired General Pervez Musharaf, he would submit his nomination papers to the returning officer in Chitral this week.]]>
