THQ hospital left with no nurse

BOONI, Feb 10: The district health officer (DHO) has ordered the repatriation of five of the six nurses from the tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital Booni to the district headquarters hospital Chitral, it has been learnt. The remaining one nurse is also on a month’s leave, sources in the hospital told ChitralToday here. They said that for the last many years the THQ hospital had not received any delivery case because the hospital has no doctor, nurse or LHV in the obstetrics and gynecology department.—S.N.
