Chitrali bureaucrat made secretary Local Council Board

CHITRAL, Jan 12: Senior bureaucrat Ghulam Muhammad has been appointed as the secretary Local Council Board in the local government department of Khyber Pakhtuknkhaw. Prior to this assignment, Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Mroi village in lower Chitral, was serving as the additional secretary minerals. He also worked on key positions, including DCO and deputy commissioner of different districts of the Malakand division. Secretary LCB is considered a much important position in the provincial setup and by the appointment of the senior civil officer, it is hoped that the new local government system would be successfully implemenetd in the province. Due to his couragious service, Ghulam Muhamamd was awarded Tamgha-e-Jurat by the government of Pakistan.]]>
