Noose tightened around drug peddlers, says SHO
BOONI, Jan 9: “We have really tightened the noose around drug peddlers and addicts and there is no room for them to continue their illegal business and activity in our area.”
This was stated by SHO Booni Shamsher Elahi while talking to this correspondent here. He said the police under his command had already started a drive against the use of narcotics.
Narrating his achievements, the SHO said very recently the police recovered 250 gramms of charas from the possession of Rehmat Khan, son of Jan Dosti, of Sonoghor, and two litres of liquor from one Nigar of the same village. He also said that a man was arrested from Golden Inn hotel of Kuragh with 105 grammes of charas.
The SHO claimed that the police were working hard to rid the people of the whole area from the menace of drug peddling and addiction.—Muhkam Uddin Sirang]]>
